Narratives are powerful. They provide structure in an otherwise chaotic world. No matter how confusing things get, a good story can not only make people pay attention but help them understand important truths about themselves and the world around them.
That's one of the reasons why I love telling stories. Whether I'm playing a session of Dungeons & Dragons with my daughter or trying to write a 60-second Super Bowl commercial, I'm obsessed with finding just the right mix of words and images to bring a narrative to life.
